Emergency dental appointments are for patients who are in pain, in need of immediate help and don’t have time to wait for an appointment.

The aim of the Emergency appointment is to alleviate the patients’ pain and symptoms as quickly as possible as well as diagnose the issue and treat it.

At Bromsgrove Dental Clinic all necessary treatments and options will be fully explained. Our kind and caring dentists who will keep you updated every step of the way. You may need to come back for further treatment after your initial emergency appointment so we will make a plan with you and arrange all of your appointments.

When should I contact the surgery if I have a dental emergency?

Please contact the surgery as soon as possible if you have a dental emergency and we will book you in as soon as we can.

Our dentists Arun & Ruska work varying hours ranging from 7.30am – 8.00pm. Plus two Saturdays a month, so there should always be a dentist available to see you quickly.

If you are experiencing dental pain, you should always visit a dentist to have it checked over. Dental issues won’t go away by themselves and even if pain subsides there may still be an active underlying issue that needs addressing.

What can I do to relieve my pain whilst waiting for an emergency appointment?

You can take strong painkillers to alleviate your pain whilst you are waiting to be seen by a dentist.

Ibuprofen can be taken to help with any swelling you may have.

Don’t attempt to self-treat as this could make things worse – it is always advisable to wait to see a dental professional.
